Using the remote:

This room is controlled by a Crestron touch panel remote control located at the instructor station. To begin using the remote when it is in screen saver mode, simply touch the screen. To make selections, gently touch your selection.

Select projector source: (See Table of Contents for source-specific instructions.)
Use the circular icons located on the left column of the touch panel. In order to switch between sources, simply touch the source you wish to project. Both projectors will turn on automatically when a selection is made. The source will be sent to the video projector and to the room audio system.
Available sources: Instructor Computer, Laptop, DVD, VCR, Document Camera, Student Computer.

Turning the projectors on:
There are two projectors available for your use. Both projectors will turn on automatically when a source is selected. By default, both projectors are simultaneously controlled by your selections; however, they can also be used alone (see step 5 for using projectors separately).

Turn the projector(s) on manually:
Both projectors will turn on automatically when a source is selected. To manually turn on the projectors, first find the Projector Controls icon on the remote. This icon is located just below the room name. When you touch the icon, the Projector Controls menu will appear. To turn on the projector(s), simply touch Pwr On. This will turn on both projectors and both screens will automatically lower. It takes a minute or two for the projector bulb to warm up and display the image. Please be patient. Press Close Window when you are finished with this menu and are ready to select a source to project.

Using Projectors Separately:
The projectors are controlled together by default. In order to use the projectors separately, touch Switch Separately on the top right of the remote control, directly beneath the time indicator. The projectors may now be used separately by pressing the Projector Controls icon and pressing Pwr On. Projector 1 is the projector located on the side nearest the main entrance to the room. To return to the default mode and control the projectors together, touch the Switch Together icon. Note that this icon is a toggle icon and will always indicate the other available mode rather than the mode currently set.

Adjust the screens (using the touch panel):
The screens will automatically descend when a source is selected, but you may also each screen independently using the Screen icons located in the Projector Controls menu. To move the screen up and down, touch the SCREEN Up and SCREEN Down icons. The screen will automatically stop when it is fully extended, but it may be manually stopped at any desired point by touching SCREEN STOP. Press Close Window when you are finished with this menu and are ready to select a source.

Adjust the room audio:
To adjust audio, use the Mic Volume and Prg Volume icons located on the right side of the touch panel screen. (MIC= microphone; PRG=program). To mute audio, press the X button.
