Room Access (Keys):

Room Access

Classrooms open between 7 and 7:30 am on regular business days. The rooms are locked around 7pm unless they have a late class or event scheduled. During breaks the classrooms are kept locked unless something is scheduled in the room for the day.

Where to Get Keys

If you are working in a classroom before 7:30 am, or during break, you should take the classroom's keys with you. The keys are kept in Mudd 230 E (Derek's Office). They are located in key cabinets behind the office door. They are labeled by a chart below the key box.

Keys We Have

We do not have keys for outside entrance to the building or to classrooms in Sewell Hall, Herzstein Hall, Biology Lab, Space Science, Dell Butcher Hall, Ryon Lab, Mech Lab, Baker Building, Alice Pratt Brown Hall, Andersen Hall.

We have keys to the classrooms, but not after hour access to the building in Duncan Hall, Keck Hall, Humantities Building, Herring Hall, Rayzor Hall.

How to Get in Without a Key

Call the campus police (X6000) for after hours access. Between 7am and 3pm, the buildings cleaning staff can let you in.
